2010 Farmers’ Market Begins In Darien
Every year, Darien hosts its very own Farmers Market.Local farmers from Connecticut bring everything from artisanal cheeses to home baked goods such as fresh pies,breads and doughnuts.Gorgeous flowers, (my favorite are the spectacular snapdragons),hanging baskets and of course fresh, seasonal veggies and berries.
The market is located on Mechanic street behind the Darien Fire Station and is open for business every Wednesday from 11AM-5PM.The market operates from May to December.If you re in town looking at real estate or just driving through,stop and treat yourself to great,fresh food!
