About Me

I am Karen Brewer of Sotheby’s International Realty in Darien Ct. I have been in the real estate business for nearly 8 years and have sold over $20 million in property.

Prior to this, I was a Managing Director at the New York Times newspaper. I worked for the Times for nearly 15 years and retired from as a Managing Director in charge of Classified Advertising Sales and Circulation Customer Service. I am a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges,class of 1977.

My business style emphasizes complete honesty and integrity as well as being knowledgeable and customer focused.What does that mean?

On the personal side, in Darien CT for 23 years. I have been actively involved in various town projects during that time and know the area and neighborhoods as only a long time resident can. I live in Darien with  my husband ,three children, and Brittany Spaniel,Daisy.

I enjoy golf, needlepoint and playing the piano (which I took up when I was forty). I love all things Italian: the country, food, art,EVERYTHING.  Oh, and did I mention Bruce Springsteen.
