The common wisdom is that the Connecticut real estate is a seasonal and largely springtime phenomenon. Not so. While the majority of homes wait for the ice to melt and the dogwoods to bloom, people need and want to sell their homes all year round.
And autumn is no exception. The New England fall days are some of the prettiest for the Connecticut real estate market. Listings are continuing to come on the market albeit at a slower pace. But the selection is greater now and prices typically even out as homeowners see yet another long winter approaching during which they must heat their homes and shovel their drives.
I personally will be listing, within the next two weeks, a home that resides in the sweet spot for Darien home buyers. Four bedrooms, a flat half acre, within a mile to the train station with over 3000 square feet of living space. Sound good?
