Darien Market Report-September 3,2009

Attached is the weekly market report showing,new listings,deposits  and closings.Anecdotally, things do seem to be picking up.Ill be posting the “year to date” report in a day or so and we’ll see if my gut instinct is on the money.

   We are seeing a definite upturn in market activity and it is good to see other area that are seeing the same thing

   Of course I wouldnt call it a trend but its kind of like the patient is now on life support instead of flat lined. We are also seeing a little movement in the upper price levels which was non existent before July or so. This being an upsccale area Ive now become concerned about all the chatter about prime mortgage holders possibly hitting the wall.We havent had a foreclosures issue to speak of so maybe this will hit us….I dont know.
